Cosmic Treadmill ep. 102: Marvel Comics' Age of Apocalypse Part Three: X-Men Chronicles #2 and other issues! (1995)

Hello mutant rebels! After some recap, they read both issues of X-Men Chronicles, with special conentration on #2 by Howard Mackie and Ian Churchill! Then, our pen slaves close out the final issues of Astonishing X-Men, Factor X, Generation neXt, and Weapon X, providing biographies for all new characters (and creators) encountered along the way! Good evening, riders! In this episode, agents of vengeance Chris (@AceComics) and Reggie (@reggiereggie) check out a listener-requested comic published by Marvel Comics in 1990--Ghost Rider #7 by Howard Mackie and Mark Texeira! After the usual biographical information and a little background about the skull-faced biker himself, they dive right into the issue which includes Marvel Comics' version of Scarecrow. Then, they wrap up the story of Mr. Mackie and talk about some other characters of the Big Two that share the same name. It's more fun than hanging out on a Brooklyn rooftop, you don't want to miss it!

Cosmic Treadmill ep. 78 - Avengers Spotlight #23 (1989)

Good evening, late-nite listeners! Heeeere's Chris (@AceComics) and Reggie (@reggiereggie) bringing you another deep dive into a comic book, this one specially chosen by Aaron Anderson: Avengers Spotlight #23 from Marvel Comics! After the usual biographies for Howard Mackie, Al Milgrom, John Byrne and Kieron Dwyer, the Hollywood Kids read both stories contained in this issue--the second one of the first appearances of The Vision in his all-white look! Then they talk about an old rural discount chain from whence Aaron's issue derived, and wrap up with a list of superheroes that had arguably unfortunate changes to their standard costumes. Even one character that never really had a standard costume! It's a great show, ladies and gentlemen, we hope you'll tune in for the duration.
