A little forewarning... you're usually even-keeled hosts, Reggie (@reggiereggie) and Chris (@acecomics) did not enjoy this event... and they're going to spend the next two hours tellin' ya alllllllll about it.  Join them as the Young Animal imprint undergoes an unnecessary, unearned, and nonsensical... reboot?!  Well, in fairness, they were in existence for an entire year!  Oh yeah... It's so hard to say goodbye... and that's exactly what we do during this episode.  Two of our Young Animal pals draw to their conclusion this time around.  Carry on, Cave... See ya, Shade.  It's not a "forever farewell", however... because there's something called "Milk Wars" on the horizon.

In addition to sayin' ciao... we actually have a full line up!  That almost never happens!

Our Young Animal revisit has officially reached "the staples"!  That's right, we are halfway through our planned 18-episode look at the pop-up imprint that could!

This week... It's really one'a them "Good News, Bad News" situations... ya see, after a few months... we finally get that next issue of Doom Patrol.  Thing of it is... it kinda smells like filler.  It looks great though... and gives us our Allred-fix, which is a good thing, since Bug! took the month off!

In addition to that issue of Doom Patrol, we will be discussing the penultimate issues of Shade and Cave... Mother Panic shows up too!

Word on the street is that there's a hiatus on the horizon... of course, using our 2018-vision, we know what that's all about... however, in the Summer of 2017... we hadn't the foggiest idea what this might mean for our Young Animal pals!

Greetings, Dangerous Humans!  As we are currently in what might just be the final month of DC's Young Animal imprint, your Young and Animalistic hosts, Chris (@acecomics) and Reggie (@reggiereggie) thought it might be fun to share with you their initial thoughts on the launch!  In this extra-sized (or, over-sized) episode they look at all four "number one" issues.  Since the Young Animal launch was staggered from September-November, 2016... there are also a couple of "non-number one" reviews in there as well.
